Elzaburu Virtual Museum

To commemorate our 160th anniversary, we created a museum in our offices that pays tribute to the inventions, designs, and trademarks we've protected since 1865. But we didn't want that history to remain confined within our walls. That's why this virtual museum was born, an online space where we present many more IP records that complement the physical exhibition and show how industrial and intellectual property has contributed to global economic and technological development.

IP Agents: The Guardians of Innovation

The second half of the 19th century marked the birth of a new profession in Spain: that of industrial property agents. These pioneers, who began as commercial agents, engineers, or lawyers, evolved to become essential figures in the protection of inventions, trademarks, and designs. Through their work, they not only connected inventors and companies with new markets but also laid the foundations for a solid industrial property system that drove innovation beyond our borders.
