José Emilio Pacheco and copyleft

Our poets are dying and our copyright is dying. The first thing, in the
case of the Mexican and Cervantes Prize winner José Emilio Pacheco, is a sad
reality. The second, it is already understood, is nothing more than a poetic license before
the paths that some legislative reforms in property are taking
intellectual.

Like a testimonial tribute to the poet that just
die, I propose the rescue of some verses that connect - it is a saying - with
some of the movements most inclined to the denial of copyright in
Internet, those who postulate the navigation free and unrestricted
works over the network. These currents, not all of them reprehensible, are assimilated in
certain extent to a romantic vocation to anonymity that is echoed
some poets Manuel Machado remembered that until the people sing them

Later, José Emilio Pacheco takes up the same idea with these meanings

Nobody would think, of course, that the poet is telling us
giving away their work, but they reveal a generosity of spirit that well
we can leave a record on the occasion of his death.
