Recently published a study on perceptions and attitudes about street vending in Madrid.
The study was presented by SigmaDos on January 22 at the headquarters of the Madrid Business Confederation (CEIM), which was attended by a large group of businessmen, representatives of ANDEMA (Brand Defense Association) and a representative of the current team. of government of the Madrid City Council.

According to the EU, undeclared trade represents an economic cost for Europe as a whole of 31.412 million euros in terms of lost sales and 396.629 jobs. In Spain, the cost translates into a reduction in sales of 4.630 million euros and the loss of 53.203 jobs.
The data undoubtedly deserve deep reflection by all economic, social and political operators.
How to address the phenomenon of illegal sales, it cannot be only police (which undoubtedly must be maintained), but we have a path ahead of us that passes, without a doubt, through the awareness and education of all Madrid residents.
