What professional reactivations or business transformations can companies carry out today?

Companies try to adapt to changes with a better or worse attitude, but sometimes it seems that if you do not follow the trends of the sector or new technologies, you become obsolete. Pilar Soriano, commercial director of ELZABURU, offers a useful and practical approach in this rich universe of contradictory opinions to try to help companies visualize a new professional project with a certain degree of innovation or disruption.

The real question would be why are we now so obsessed with transformation, especially digital, and why in all innovation forums do they encourage us to permanently seek disruption? It is repetitive and unrealistic.

Companies - well, the people who work in them - try to adapt to changes with a better or worse attitude; But sometimes it seems to us that if you don't follow the trends of the sector or new technologies, the same thing happens as in the world of fashion, you become obsolete.

Digitization, Transformation, Hand, Man, Touch

When developing this article, at no time has my intention been to seek reflection, nor to grant significance beyond what each reader can derive from their reading, but rather to find a useful and practical approach in this rich universe of contradictory opinions.

From my modest point of view, what is happening now is a revision of concepts in almost all business aspects helped by more sophisticated methodologies and technological tools.

There are lines of thought that claim that in extreme situations great transformations occur in people, and they are surely right; But my hypothesis is based on the fact that this is true if these people are internally predisposed to transform. The same thing happens in companies; but not now, but forever.

It is common sense full of honesty and reality that should guide private and public organizations to achieve their objectives and sustainability to guarantee their continuity.

That being said, I want to share some tips “zero original” but important and necessary business ventures, as a review so that professionals, within the complexity in which we are immersed, can visualize a new professional project with a certain degree of innovation or disruption, why not, in their environment :

  • back to the basics. Review the classic management parameters.
    • Search for efficiency in productive areas.
    • Decision making with secure information, based on data and with the appropriate tools.
    • Review of essential processes.
    • Automation and robotization of areas to reduce risks and costs.
    • Strengthening omnichannel.
    • Retention and management of hybrid talent.
  • Combine Purpose and Profit, Thanks to the Innovation.
  • Create ecosystem networks, who join forces for a common goal, responding to new changes in business paradigms.
  • Create industrial technology platforms, with symbiosis between large and small companies, to allow the scaling of new business models.
  • Guide Consumption, Investment and Savings to products and services companies.
  • The client recovers sovereignty, he is the main change agent and expects greater involvement from partners in your business.
  • The client will demand unifying proposals of professional services that solve business needs at all times. This will involve:

"THINK OUT OF THE BOX"

  • El transforming role of professionals in service companies will be more relevant than that of technology.
  • Legitimacy and social awareness providing answers to society's problems, beyond the core of the company's action. Are the "Socially Responsible Projects” (PSR), which generate value and positive social impact in:
    • Science.
    • Culture.
    • Technology.
    • Life Sciences and Health.
    • Social Sciences.
    • Good Corporate Governance.
  • Projects where they are reflected values such as ethics, responsibility and exemplarity.
  • Proposals from circular economy, that contain products and services with sustainable development objectives and real impact on the environment.

I would like to conclude by raising awareness of the importance of protecting and managing those innovations and intangible assets that help countries achieve greater well-being and progress for their society and consequently for their citizens.

Good luck and encouragement throughout this exciting journey.
