Mabel Klimt

With extensive experience, Mabel advises domestic and international clients in the field of intellectual property, with a special focus on cultural projects and the entertainment industry.

As head of the Media & Entertainment practice and a Managing Partner at ELZABURU, her practice encompasses providing comprehensive legal counsel to audiovisual productions—including film, television, advertising, animation, and live entertainment—and the performing arts, as well as the legal and financial structuring of projects, including tax incentives, public aid, grants, and sponsorship agreements, while leading multidisciplinary teams.

She is involved in every stage of the production process, from negotiating option rights to distribution, including license management, merchandising, and content exploitation. She also provides ongoing advice to companies and professionals in sectors such as print media, publishing, photography, design, fashion, music, and social media. The strategic management of image rights and publicity rights is another of its main areas of expertise.
