Miguel Ángel Medina

Miguel Ángel has extensive experience in the field of distinctive signs, with a particular focus on trademarks, geographical indications, and appellations of origin. He has advised some of the world’s most prestigious organizations in this field, as well as public entities and industry associations. His practice also includes the registration of trademarks and domain names with the OEPM, the EUIPO, and WIPO.

In addition, he has been named a Knight of “l’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne” in recognition of his contributions to the legal protection of the Champagne PDO, and for seven years he chaired MARQUES’s Geographical Indications Committee (GI Team), of which he remains a member.
