Madrid, May 26, 2022. ELZABURU has received numerous accolades this May: it was named the best IP firm at the Iberian Lawyer Awards, was nominated as a finalist for the Expansión Jurídico Awards in the “Best Intellectual Property Firm” category, and is set to receive several honors at the Managing IP Awards, which will be held in London on June 15.
On May 12, Iberian Lawyer presented its annual IP&TMT awards at the Wellington Hotel. During the gala, ELZABURU received the award for Best Intellectual Property Firm of the Year, in addition to the award given to Antonio Castán, a partner at the firm, as Best Litigation Attorney, recognizing his achievements in this area over his more than 35-year career.
In addition, the business newspaper *Expansión* has named ELZABURU as a finalist for the Best Intellectual Property Firm award, the winner of which will be announced on June 30. It is worth noting that ELZABURU won the award in both 2020 and 2021, which is quite unusual.
And at the Managing IP Awards, a prestigious international intellectual property awards ceremony to be held on June 15, ELZABURU will receive awards for Firm of the Year in patent litigation, trademark prosecution, and the case with the greatest impact (the Champagne v. Champanillo ruling), as well as the Professional of the Year award in Spain, which will be presented to Carlos Morán.
