Patricia Salamá, Partner at ELZABURU
Madrid, May 26, 2022. Patricia Salama has been promoted to Partner at ELZABURU, becoming the second woman to hold this rank at the firm. In addition, coinciding with this promotion, she has assumed leadership of the firm’s Patent Practice Group.
Patricia holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She has been a European Patent Attorney since 2013 and joined ELZABURU in 2016.
He has been working in the field of industrial property since 2010 and has served both as a technical specialist at a patent agency and as the head of the patent department at a pharmaceutical company.
He previously worked for more than 10 years in research laboratories in the fields of developmental genetics, neurobiology, and stem cells. He has extensive experience in patents and utility models, licensing and contracts, and technology transfer.
