Luis Baz
Lawyer specializing in trademark protection, defense, and portfolio strategy
Luis Baz has over 35 years of experience in the processing and defense of distinctive signs before national offices, the EUIPO, and the WIPO, as well as in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings for intellectual and industrial property rights. He directly advises multinational companies and groups on the design and implementation of global trademark protection strategies, as well as on matters relating to domain names and dispute resolution (UDRP). As Director of Elzaburu's Trademark Practice, he leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive trademark management at the national and international levels.
Teaching activity
He has been a guest professor on the Course for the Training of Future Industrial Property Agents organized by COAPI, as well as on various IP master's degrees and programs at the Autonomous University of Madrid, the University of Alicante, and the Instituto de Empresa.
