Ana Donate and Carlos Morán have been named partners at ELZABURU, a firm where they were already associate partners.
Ana Donate holds a law degree from the University of Madrid and joined the firm in 1998 after several years at an international law firm. She is an industrial property agent, a European trademark agent since 1999, a member of AIPPI, and an authorized representative before the EUIPO.
Ana is an expert in the administration and management of large portfolios of industrial property rights, particularly in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical sectors, as well as in the development of international protection strategies. She specializes in proceedings before the OEPM, EUIPO, and WIPO, in foreign jurisdictions, and in legal documentation.
Carlos Morán, for his part, holds a law degree from the Complutense University and joined the firm in 2001 after five years at a prestigious law firm specializing in industrial and intellectual property.
He is a member of the ELZABURU litigation group, a member of the AEDC and AIPPI, among other associations, and has taught various areas of law at Carlos III University and ICADE. His areas of expertise include industrial designs and models, trademarks and trade names, know-how and trade secrets, patents and utility models, plant varieties and appellations of origin, and litigation.
