Last Friday, September 25, Bosco de la Vega and Cristina Arroyo received their industrial property agent certifications at a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM).

This accreditation attests to a comprehensive understanding of the various types of industrial property rights—such as patents, trademarks, industrial designs, plant varieties, and supplementary protection certificates (SPCs)—as well as the national and international regulations governing them. This training provides both professionals with a comprehensive perspective from which to advise clients on the global protection of their intangible assets.

For both of them, this achievement holds both professional and personal significance. Bosco de la Vega highlights its connection to customer service and shared learning: “It’s a very important milestone in my professional growth and an opportunity to continue serving customers in the best way possible. I’m happy about this achievement, but above all, I’m happy about what I’ve learned and continue to learn along the way, and about all the wonderful people I’ve met who have supported me.”

Cristina Arroyo sees this as a new stage in an ongoing learning process: “I accept this degree with the satisfaction of having completed yet another stage in a continuous process of professional and personal learning that knows no age limits and has no end point.” It’s a sense of satisfaction that also connects her to her family: “I wanted to show my daughters that effort, perseverance, a curiosity to learn, and preparation are always worthwhile and enrich our lives, even when the future isn’t entirely clear.”

With these two new accreditations, ELZABURU now has 17 industrial property agents, a figure that reinforces our team’s expertise and its ability to support clients in protecting and managing their intangible assets.

On behalf of our firm, we congratulate Bosco and Cristina on this achievement, which is the result of their hard work and commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
