ELZABURU reported revenue of 28 million in 2025, with strong growth in the legal sector

Madrid, April 8, 2026.— ELZABURU, Spain’s longest-standing firm specializing in industrial and intellectual property, closed out 2025 with revenue of 28 million euros, up 3% from the previous year. 80.3% of its revenue came from Europe, 10.8% from the Americas, and 8.9% from the rest of the world.

46% of its client portfolio consists of Spanish companies, including 40% of the companies listed on the IBEX 35. The firm currently manages a portfolio of more than 60,000 brands and has extensive litigation experience, having handled more than 1,600 cases throughout its history.

By business area, Trademarks grew by 2%, Patents by 5%, and Legal by 18%, accounting for 42.5%, 38.7%, and 18.8% of revenue, respectively. Of particular note is the strong growth in the Media & Entertainment division, which managed more than 860 audiovisual and performing arts projects— a 169% increase over the previous year—and mobilized 18.2 million euros in tax incentives for cultural projects, a 73% increase.

The firm is the only Spanish firm listed in Band 1 in the Patent & Trademark Agents category by Chambers & Partners Europe, and more than 60% of its professionals have been recognized in international rankings and directories throughout the fiscal year, reflecting the team’s technical consistency and its recognition in the market.

ELZABURU has more than 150 professionals, including 44 attorneys, 14 technical specialists, 13 European trademark agents, 15 IP agents, 10 European patent agents, and 3 WIPO arbitrators. Women account for 30% of the partners and 57% of management positions in the corporate division, representing 74% of the workforce. The average age of the team is 45, and the average tenure at the firm is 16 years.
